Prof. Márta Fülöp (DSc) is scientific advisor and head of the Social and Cultural Psychology Department of the HUN-REN (Hungarian Research Network) Institute for Cognitive Neuroscience and Psychology, Research Centre of Natural Sciences in Budapest, Hungary. She is also a professor of social and cultural psychology at the Institute of Psychology of Karoli Gaspar University, Budapest. Her main field of expertise is the psychology of competition/cooperation. She has conducted research on constructive/destructive competitive processes, cooperative competition, competitive attitudes, coping with winning and losing, competitive school climate and students’ subjective well being, competition in old-age and competition in cross-cultural perspective.
