This talk show will explore how to support the health and well-being of our PHC workforce. The COVID-19 pandemic has placed extraordinary demands on the health and care workforce in all settings. At the PHC level, the increased pressure originates from an overall increased workload taking place amidst rapid reconfiguration of the way essential health services are delivered. Experiences from across the Region offer opportunities to learn how to make PHC a dynamic well supported area of work. The talk show will discuss the leadership role of governments and facility managers but also reflect on the role of multidisciplinary teams in caring for one another.
